Almenara Golf is comprised of a 27-hole layout, split across three 9-hole circuits. To form an eighteen-hole experience, Almenara offers three combinations of nine-hole courses. A popular combination is the Lagos & Pinos (Lakes & Pines), a par 71 combination course that reaches almost 6,000 metres from the white tees and 4,700 metres from the front tees.  

Originally designed by famous British course designer, Dave Thomas, the courses at Almenara Golf were fully remodelled by legendary local golfer, Manuel Pinero recently. Tte variation from pine trees to cork trees throughout the experience provides am ever-changing aesthetic, with water features and generous landing areas to begin the round. As you work your way through the course, the targets tighten down the stretch which will test your full game, offering a focus on accuracy and precision. 

The Lagos nine features wide openings between groups of pine trees. A thick, Mediterranean forest encloses the entire course, as well as selectively placed limestone mountain features. This nine-hole section is located between two lakes, hence the name for the exquisite nine-hole circuit.  

The Pinos course presents narrower fairways with a challenging par three to finish, measuring at 180 yards from the back tees. The aesthetic is impressive, as you wind down the hill and through the trees, with elevated green positions that require careful shot making.   

The combination of the Lagos and Pinos courses presents four par 5s and five par 3s and requires tactical course management to negotiate its challenges.
