From Club de Golf Almenara Sotogrande we want to announce the opening of the new course of our golf course Los Alcornoques, which will make our golf club has 27 holes, divided into three rounds and with 9 holes each, making it one of the largest courses in the area of Sotogrande and the Costa del Sol.

About the new golf course: Los Alcornoques

The new Los Alcornoques course is next to the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, from which it derives its name, offering an idyllic and unique setting to play golf among these imposing trees and other Mediterranean species. As for the course, it has 9 holes: two par 3, where you can try a hole in one; two holes of par 5 and the rest of par 4; and wide and undulating fairways. In addition, holes 6, 7 and 8 are located next to a large lake, providing a challenge in an exceptional enclave for the player.

Two masters of golf unite in the design of the course

The Los Alcornoques course is designed, like our other two courses, by the acclaimed British designer Dave Thomas, who is responsible for the courses of more than 100 courses around the world, 14 of them in Spain and of these, 6 are located in Andalusia. The reason for the reopening is the recent modification and remodelling of the famous Spanish golfer Manuel Piñero, who as a great connoisseur of the needs of golfers has adapted the course to make the game an unrepeatable experience.

From Club de Golf Almenara Sotogrande we invite you to come and try and play our new course Los Alcornoques, completely renovated.
